Michael has over 40 years of experience in healthcare information technology and is a CHIME Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO).
Michael has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career. He has served on a number of Executive Teams including PeaceHealth System, Oregon Network, Oregon Medical Laboratories, and the HealthCare Improvement Division.
His experience spans virtually every aspect of information technology in the healthcare setting, including clinical applications, web services, business applications, desktop support, application development, data warehouse, and customer service.
He is married and has four grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking, snow skiing, and following college sports.
